Stainless steel has been shown to remove the odour of garlic, onions, fish and other strong-smelling foods. How does it work? It's all to do with chemistry. Using garlic as an example - garlic contains sulphur, which is what causes your skin to smell of garlic. Washing your hands with water will make the scent stronger, because water turns sulphur into sulphuric acid. But when you use our stainless steel soap, the sulphur molecules on your hands bind with the molecules in the steel, removing the sulphur from your hands.
