Inspiration

It was a glorious summers day, everything bathed in the heat of the midday sun, not a shadow in sight beneath the immaculate blue sky in Positano. He felt the constant gentle sea breeze, with its slight saltiness, caressing everything in its path, a reminder of the sea's proximity. Standing proud, the unique, steeply-stepped houses nestled in the hillside, in tones of peach, pink and terracotta, all paying homage to the coast. He was fascinated by the tiny, well-kept gardens with lemon and orange trees ladened with fruit, together with pots brimming with lavender, bayleaf, rosmary and thyme that instantly evoke the aromatic indulgence of the Mediterranean cuisine. It was always the unexpected from Positano that he loved, and kept him returning to the very dramtatic and exclusive delights of this treasure on the Amalfi Coast.

Scent

Created by perfumer Carlos Benaim, Positano eau de parfum is as ground-breaking as it is unexpected, a very personal interpretation of beautiful Italy as its aromatic and citrus side, with characteristic Mediterranean spices, is combined with a marine and salty accord typical of the cities on the Italian coast. Top notes of Orange Oil, Turmeric Leaf Oil and Blackcurrant Bud Absolute give way to a heart of Marine Accord, Hay Absolute and Lavender Absolute, before a woody dry-down of Musk, Patchouli Heart and Vetiver Concentrate rounds out this unique Fougère-Aromatic fragrance.
